i just got my d3 and everything seems ok but when i change from radio to cd mode there is no noise coming from the speakers(i can see the counter on the cd going ) and when i use my ipod connected with the direct wire i hear the sound coming from the ipod headphones and not the speakers ....the h/u is in my 06 rsx type s using a oemII device from crutchfield in order to retain my oem bose system

You most likely used your power antenna wire to turn on the amp instead of the remote turn on wire. Go into SYSTEM SETTINGS in the menu, Select AUTO ANT, and switch it from RADIO to POWER. Should fix your problem.
