hey im a newbie n i am having trouble updating my avic system to make it bypassable every time i go to put the cd in my car it says cd rom inserted if some one can help explain how to make the cd to update i would appricate it

Read the thread a little closer. First, depends on the date of manufacture. Alot of the newer units do not need the CD-ROM update to bypass. Second, if you used Windows to burn the image, DON'T! Use Nero or some other burning program.
