i just got a n3 and wanna hook it up in a 99 silverado? can anyone link me to a thread on this or just help me out

i am a mechanic and very good at this but just looking for tips and wondering what all the talk about the vss and reverse wires are for? why do you need the vehicle speed sensor wires and revese wires? please help me so i dont mess anythin up!!!

im also hooking up a kicker solobaric l7 square 10 and kicker 1200.1 amp if anyone knows a good box to build and if i should go ported or not? please does anyone here respond?

bump i am assuming the vss wires is so you can see your speed on the display of the unit with the n3? some one please give me info my n3 should be here in 3 days i wanna put it right in!!! im thinking of taking the dash off like that one guy did is it worth it

I can give you any pin outs you need for anything on the vehicle, but I couldn't tell you anything about the AVIC. I myself am in the process of collecting parts to install the double din unit in my 01 Silverado.

i ended up getin screwed on my n3 so i got a d3, either way didnt someone say the silverados that have the automatic sound thing on the oem radio dosnt that mean thier is a vss wire i right in the dash? i need help on hooking up the reverse gear signal input lead and the car speed signal input thanks
