I need the VSS wire for a 96 Nissan Maxima SE with the Bose factory system, and also the closest place to tap into the reverse lights rather than running a wire all the way back to the tail of the car.

I would also like to know where the VSS wire is for this model. I used the site in the sticky but there aren't any Maxima's on that site. This is the last piece of my install so if someone could us out that would be great.

okay good news and bad news,

I figured out where the wire is. mine is set up and works great.

The bad news:

I had to take my gauges off, and I connected the pink wire that comes with the D3 to a the pink wire with blue stripe that goes to the speedo.

It took about an hour to do, but i never took that part of my dash off before.

AC means Alternating Current as in AC and DC power. It has nothing to do with Air Conditioning. cntrylvr79 may have more info about your specific car. I just provided the info from his post.
