Just bought an AVIC-N3 and im a bit fuzzy on a couple things.

1) I have a 5th generation 30g ipod video, what do I need to use it with the N3?

2) I understand you cannot play Ipod videos on the N3, is there any trick to enable this?

You need the video cable from Apple that outputs to RCA audio and video cables. Plug those cables into the hideaway brain. Turn on the A/V input. Done

You will have to do all controls from the ipod and charge it on your own

Wow thanks! Controlling it from my Ipod is no problem, I find it quicker anyway! There anyway to charge it at the same time? Can I get a link on what you recommend!!
