My Z1 has one other quirk. Sometimes the rear video is fine, and sometimes it's not. I took it to the shop, and they declared that the screen was bad. A few hundred dollars later, I have a new screen and a new cable. After 10 or 20 minutes of a DVD, the screen still says "No signal."

 

The AV input works when the DVD works, and not when it's blank. So they are linked somehow.

 

Any ideas? Loose wire somewhere? Anything intermittent is likely to be hardware, no?
