I transferred my subscription from my OEM unit to the Pioneer unit. The gal on the phone mentioned to leave it on channel 1 for 15-20 minutes for the channel categories to update. How do I know they have been updated?

Also, do I need to do anything on my unit? The gal mentioned to check Channel 7 and Channel 175 and if I have both, then it is upgraded. However, I tried the NHL channels and saw nothing...

Advice would be appreciated.

I got it all going. Had to call XM to get them to refresh my update. I sat in a parking lot for 15 minutes while Ch. 1 was on. It has to be uninterrupted. After 15 minutes, I was able to get what looks like all the channels, or channels I didn't get before like the NHL channels.
