I have an Avic D-1 that screen was off and needed to recalibrated. I found the information on this site on how to fix it, which I did.
The problem I am having now is that I cannot use my touch screen because the touch screen sensor is off. Now bear with me as I try to explain this. When I go to the service screen and test the calibrations, it automatically positions the cursor on a specific section of the screen as if I am touching that area. Now if touch another part of the screen, it move the cursor there but then it moves back to the spot it was before. Basically it thinks that someone is touching screen constantly.
I tried resting and recalibrating it several times but to no avail. It is out of warranty and if I have to spend 200 to resolve this issue I might as well buy a D3. I can get a D3 for 650 plus there is a 200 rebate from Pioneer so it will run about 450.
Thank you all in advance.
