used the software update for the Z2 , so the dvd will work when driving, now the steering wheel controls will not work. anyone seen or heard this problem before, any ideas? Thanks

Are you using a steering wheel adaptor that might have become un-programmed?

using a peswips, reprogramed it and it responded as it learned , but will still not work.

I would try another one, or at least check that nothing has come unplugged/loose with the one you have. The bypass has absolutely nothing to do with the steering wheel hole
