I started the install today BOY O BOY what a mess the local stereo shop left me with. Here is my question. The wiring harness on the d3, the red wire states ACC is that constant power or only ingnition power, the same for the yellow which reads BATTERY ?

Thanks guys

Just wondering what the mess was? Did they start it and leave you to finish it or something? :? Doesn't sound like you're far enough to consider it a mess yet

I think he has these special glasses that are always connected to AVIC411, so whenever there is a new post, fe is first to see it.

BuffaloSS,

2 years ago I had them istall a sub and an amp to the factory head unit, It just seems like there was a ton of wires , I used the audiocontrol LC6, once I disconnected that the mess diminished greatly.

Thanks again

always, always use a simple test light to see what wire is turn on or constant, unless youve done it a thousand time. it never hurts to use a test light ive seen so many people drive around with no tail lights or their radio stays on when the car is off!

i honestly suggest you get help if you stumped on the first easiset step dont ruin your unit
