i ran the video out to rear tvscreens, curious why the audio outs dont also run to the rear tv screens. im guessing it has to do with the (audio outs)are for external amps but shouldnt i get sound if hooked up?

correct me if im wrong or jsut staright up tell me im a idiot lol....but anyways shouldnt the audio outs just go to something producing sound? and the video out to tv's because well they produce video and there not speakers so why would they need to have audio out hooked up to the screens?.....

so u can listen to sound thru the headsets, i can play the sound thru the speakers but not the headset

Because the D series does not have dual zone. That feature would allow you to play a DVD from the front and send it to a rear monitor with audio through headphones for the rear passengers while you listened to the radio or XM from the front. That feature was reserved for the Z series. The vudeo out on the D series shows only what is being played through the internal DVD player or the Video inputs.
