I tried making custom backgrounds as per Pioneer's website for my N3. I made a folder titled BG on a cd rom, put my custom wallpapers in it, and in the root directory of the cd, i put a bunch of mp3 files to make up the 100mb of data it said should also be on the cd.

My N3 says no data when I try to manually load the BG's from the CD. I noticed another post where someone else had a similar problem, but no resolution.

Anyone else here may have any ideas? Thanks!

You can't put MP3's on the disc, it will think it's a MP3 CD. Take a large file or application and just throw it in there.

exactly. if you want you can take those mp3's and just create a zip file of them and burn the zip to the disc along with the wallpapers.

ive got the n3 as well, but what is the root directory? ive already resized my pic to 500x240 but now i am lost...can anyone help? thanks fellas...
