Hello all,

I just installed my Z2 with a 3rd party (license plate frame style) reverse camera. For some reason the Z2 doesn't recognize the camera (the reverse map option is non-selectable), and I can't figure it out for the life of me.

I verified that the camera is getting power with my volt meter, the video cable is plugged into the Brown RCA connection, and the reverse signal wire is connected (the hardware status screen verifies that the reverse wire is working properly).

Is the problem simply that the Avic only works with the Pioneer camera? I kinda find that hard to believe... If I'm not doing anything wrong, maybe the camera is DOA?

Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

Check to make sure you have the setting for the camera turned on. It's in the A/V settings.

I found the setting and it works now, thanks a lot.
