Sorry I know this may probably have been solved, I go on this forum occasionally to get updates and keep up to date with problems etc..

Ok I have the bypass done to my car, I do not know if this is the cause for it, but my navi does not go to Night Mode is there any possibilities to get that working again? Its pretty weird driving out at night and ppl can see inside my car or who ever in my car because the screen is bright. I just dont like that.

Just asking if there is a resolution to this.

Just to double-check... you did connect the orange/white wire to your car's illumination wire, right?

did it used to work before you moved wires around to do the bypass? Sounds like the orange/white might have come loose.

hmm it seems the person did my bypassed probably messed up thats why. How would i check the plugs? Do I have to open my dash and check the back connectors?

You could just dim the screen

Actually, I love the bright 7inch LCD, its off the charts in terms of brightness.

But having night mode is really nice too. Definitely check your ILL wire connection.
