If anyone is installing in a 2008 Taurus X, this info will be helpful. There is a yellow/green wire in the main radio harness. Hook the AVIC's blue (antenna power) wire to this wire. This will activate the built-in antenna amplifier. Otherwise, your FM and AM reception will suffer.
