i got a 2008 harley-davidson road king and i just installed a avic-n4 with the bypass shown on the hack pageon the a new ferring i just bought . I followed the instructions and now the unit worked for about three days.

The "magic" wire is on the slot with alot of bare wire stuck in but it still gives me the usual lock out screen

i also cant find a vss wire on this Hog

Does the VSS wire really need to be wired for the nav screen and the video ?

Is there another way to hack the N4 for the bypass or did i install the bypass wrong ?

Bare wire? Why didn't you use the pin like the instructions show? It probably just came loose

because all the other wires are being used and i dont know where i can get that type of pin

Probably came loose. Try making a better connection
