so i bought a 5th or 5.5 gen ipod video 30 gig black

and when i plug the ipod in it shows the ipod on the D3 and says ready, yet when i try to play sonsg, video or anything nothing happens...?

its on the latest updated version

and has the ipod screen on the D3...

but it doesnt do anything else!!!!!!!!

it worked with my ipod nano...
