where is the best place inside the dash to place the GPS antenna?

i installed mines ON TOP of a peice of metal under my dash.

i get maximum signal.

place the antenna as far up the dash as you can and tuck the wire in between the dash and the window

Yeah, up under the dash as high as possible, either on top of something metal or stuck to the metal pad that comes with the antenna, and it should be fine.

i ran mine to the back window tucked the cord away under all pannels and ran it behind the back seat and used the metal cord holders that came with the antena used the meal sticky pad also i have 5% tint on back windows now so you cant even see it haha max signal!!!
