I tried playing video through aux input..........do I have to use the Pioneer aux mini to rca cable for it to work or will any aux mini to rca cable work. Because Right now no matter how I switch the cables around all I can get is sound and scrambled video with generic cable.

I think any mini-plug cable thats designed for video would work. If I remember correctly it has three rings on the actual plug, the audio-only ones have less

3 contact areas (silver or gold). One for video and 2 audio (L/R). 2 black band separators.What type of video player are you using?
