My initial install went flawlessly and now I want to add the ipod connector now, but cannot remove the trim plate/ring which comes with the Pioneer double din dash kit. Any help greatly appreciated!

If you look at your install manual. It can just snap in and out. When you installed it did you do anything different?

Nothing was done differently, the trim ring snapped in perfectly during installation, but pulling and even using a pick tool to pull off the ring did not work. I'm just worried of breaking the trim ring since its so expensive to replace. I've removed trim rings before on normal single din HU's with no problems, but for some reason this one just seems much more stubborn. Any tips as to where to place pressure when pulling the ring off?

does it feel like it wants t come out at all? if u break it i got one u can ave just pay for shipping
