Hey all. I got my D3 installed a while back (October I think) and it has been an awesome experience. The one thing that has always bugged me was the fact that my phone (a Samsung Sync) can't transfer contacts to the D3.
So, this idea popped into my head... why not get a bluetooth usb dongle for my computer (they're like $15) and write a program that spoofs my phones bluetooth header information so the D3 thinks my computers usb dongle is actually my Samsung Sync. From there I can send contacts from my computer to the D3, when my phone connects it the D3 should show those contacts.
I found a bluetooth library and I'm going to be playing around with it for a few days; I'll let you guys know how it's going in this thread.
P.S. any developers who want to help me dive into this: I'm using .NET and found this library: http://inthehand.com/
