I have an N4 with the bluetooth adapter and I was wondering if anyone knows how to make the iphone auto-connect rather then having to unpair and then pair again every time i get into my car.

Register it in location 1

When I go to the Bluetooth phone av source, it does not show anything like that??? All it has is the hand up icon, the pick up icon, hide button and direct button. When the phone is not paired, it is a black screen. How do I register the phone as location 1 on the avic-N4??

Didn't read the manual, eh?

When the phone is paired, go to the bluetooth source, hit menu, function, press register phone. Hold your finger down on #1 for a second or two until its stored

I'm sorry.. thanks for clearing that up for me. I had an N3 and it was stolen so this was an insurance replacement and unfortunately they did not give me the manuals. I just looked online and found them to download. Thanks again!
