I had the bypass switch installed along with everythign else today. The switch tricks the unit into thinking its in park with ebrake on therefore u may access all the functions and watch movies while moving. My question is why is there an on off switch for this? Whats the problem with just leaving the "switch in the on, tricking" position?

Why did you bother with a switch then? The bypass instructions on this site just bypass it permanently. No switch used

Take the switch out of the circuit. Just cut the two wires going to the switch and splice them together. Permanently on bypass.
