I just bought a Avic-ni, and the guy I got it from gave me two discs. Supposedly for navigation. Both of them are the actual Pioneer discs, but whenever I have had the unit on whether listening to cd's or watching a dvd. when I put the nav. discs in, it will reboot, and when the unit comes back on and tries to load the discs, it will say insert proper discs, and/or read error. I know these are the correct discs because when it was in his car it worked fine, and I saw that he used these same discs. Is there a possible wiring installation problem, or could the discs being scatched a little have a problem with it? also I can get one of the discs to work. it's a purple disc, but i will have to insert the disc, turn my car off and then back on and then that disc works. it still have yet to get the gold disc to work. I have a 99' 2dr honda accord v6 ex.

one last thing...

where is and which one is my speed sensor wire?

please someone help.

If you inserted the purple disk, it updated the firmware and the yellow disks won't work anymore. The purple disks should still work, just make sure its in good condition

is there any way that I can downgrade it back to the gold disc? plus whenever the purple disc is in, it takes a while to load the map. also, for some reason it will not let type in any address searches nor points of interest. faulty disc maybe? should I get a new one?
