extremely spotty reception... called sirius they told me that the antenna has to be outside the vehicle. i have a d-3 installed in a 2008 ridgeline, with the sirius antenna mounted on the center of the dashboard near the windshield.. do i have to have this moved...

My experience is that Sat Radio reception is a lot more placement critical than Nav reception. You pretty much do have to have the Sirius antenna outside the car. Not so for the Nav antenna.

thanks ,,, I had the antenna mounted outside the truck and the reception is perfect... this system is great
