So today I installed my AVIC-D3 Headunit and I have some problems, first off the head unit works fine for the GPS and CD's and everything but I cannont access the settings on it to adjust time or anything everything is greyed out, also it wont let me add adressess or anything. 2nd i cannot find where to wire my Car Speed Signal Input. I drive a 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT. Thanks For the Help.

Try setting your parking brake if you did not bypass it and connected the "proper" way. If you bypassed it, check your wiring. These items are greyed out because Pioneer's lawyers thought you did not need to do these operations while you are driving.

As for your VSS, only info I show is it is white/blue in a 3 pin plug on the transmission, near the firewall. Could be at other locations, just not sure where. Maybe at the cruise control module, in the center stack under the radio hole.
