I have the bypass soldered i just need help on the actual software installation. any help?

ok well if thats all you do my unit must be broken...my gps screen always says insert correct disc...the background did change but i thought i had to go into some menu screen and update like i read in another forum but that doesn't work...anyone got any ideas?

yea im using the new discs...why does it make a difference? Can anyone help me with this im tired of not having gps

Because once you load a newer disk in it, you get that message if you try and put in the older ones. Could be defective, hard to say over the internet

I never had the older discs...i bought the unit used and it didnt come with disc's so i sent it off to get soldered and bought the upgraded discs...but i have never been able to get it working..do i need the older ones for some reason?
