the d3 has an internal clock that is powered by the nav antenna.

its visible on the left hand upercorner of the creen in audoi mode and its towards the middle topof screen during nav mode.

You can't actually set the time - it gets the time from the GPS satellites. You can only set the time zone offset and whether it's daylight saving time or not.

Yeah, it gives you the option of moving forward or back by 3 hours, and whether or not to set daylight savings on or off. The time it bases it all off of it gets via the GPS signal.

If you can't get to the correct time using the options it gives you, you might have something wrong with the antenna or satellite signal.

This means that without the nav antenna hooked up properly, undamaged and working.................all youll see is asterisks where the time should be.

Hook it up properly, get it fixed, or get a new one. Otherwise,

"No clock for you!"
