Two weeks ago I contacted Pioneer to request the firmware update for my AVIC Z-1. ASSuming Pioneer sent me the right disk I put the cd into my HU and nothing happened, not wanting to turn the unit off I left the cd in the HU for a good 10 minutes and walked away. When I came back the screen hadn't changed, when I took the cd out of the HU the disc said "updating disc for am AVIC Z-2.... grrrr

 

I called Pioneer up and their sending me the correct software 2nd day air.
