I currently have a AVIC-D3 in my SUV and really like it.

I am looking to upgrade my current headunit in my Audi TT which will require a Single DIN unit. I found a AVIC-N1 on Craigslist from what seems like a good guy.

What I want is a modern device that allows me to do the following items:

XM

iPod Interface WITH an iPhone

NAV

DVD

hopefully Bluetooth Phone Function

I want the interface to look at modern as possible and I certainly want my Mapping to be new. Basically I want my D3 in my TT. I would prefer not to drop $1200 on a new unit. What options are out there for me, I know people upgrade the brain units, but I don't totally understand what that will get me. My biggest things are those listed above, and I really need it to work with my iPhone (at least for music, don't care about video). Any help would be appreciated!

A deck that old will work like crap with the ipod adaptor and bluetooth because it wasn't designed to work with either. Both seem to be important to you so I would save up some cash and get an N4. It works great with both

Yeah, even though it's hard to turn down a sweet craigslist deal, all the features you want suck with the n1, other than the nav, which is debateable. Go with the n4, sry, don't know the cheapest spot, haven't shopped around.
