Hey guys, i was installing my Avic-Z1 today connected all the wires and got no sound

i have a 1998 nissan maxima with bose

and i have a metra 70-7551 kit for it which uses the pre-outs of the deck

i did all the colour to colour match ups, but i don't know what to do with the blue/white wire coming out from the RCA preout connector 1and im thinking this may be my problem

any ideas?

If memory serves that blue/white wire is the amp power signal wire. It's what external maps use to power-on. Are you using an external amp or are you using the Z1's internal amp?

Well each bose speaker is powered by it's own amp,

so it could possibly be that i need to connect that wire to the amp turn on wire on that metra adapter i have,

the amps for the bose speakers probably arn't turning on

what do you think?
