I'd like to reset the D1 back to how it was when it came from the factory - there are a lot of problems with the used D1 i just bought, for example, in Nav, i cant set a new destination, only 'return home' and i cant even change settings when i click the settings tab under the navigation main menu. so i hoping this will fix it.

how do i master reset the entire d1

Put your parking brake on

it was since i have a 5speed and i was parked on a hill but its been bypassed

im guessing they're bypassed it wrong, because in some submenu i found, it said 'parking brake: OFF'

so my next question is how do i bypass it so the parking brake is always 'On?'

There is one open hole in the main power harness. Take a wire/pin you are not using or find one from another harness and stick it in that open hole. Ground the other end of that wire and the parking brake wire

k thanks a lot bud, i guess ill use the A.ANT since im not using it (thats for cars that have retracting antennas correct?) do i just pull it out and plug it in the new slot or do i have to strip the wire or anything of that nature?
