Those with the AVIC D3 BTB200 for bluetooth...where did you put the power source to? did you directly hook it up to the battery? in the manual it just says connect to terminal always supplied with power regardless of ignition switch.... just connect it straight to the batter?

The radio has 2 power wires going to it. One is switched from the ignition, and one is constant power.

IIRC, red = switched, yellow = constant.

Those colors are correct.

WHich of the two power supplies should the BT receiver be plugged into. I have plugged mine into the switched power and not the constant. I'm wondering if this is causing my connection problems.

the receiver is working fine but i have to manually reconnect my phone everytime i getinto the car to fully use it

The yellow/constant power wire. It needs constant power to keep it's memory, which would definitely lead to connection problems. The on/off switching is done via the IP-BUS cable.
