ok here it is i have a 06 charger r/t i have the avic d3 and i love it but the thing is i went to hook up my new rear view camera and it all went smooth i hooked the reverse wire up to the tail lights it works great power and ground work great for the camera. i run the rca and bam the pic sucks black lines running through it like up and down and no color like the screen in jumping . i hooked it up in my friends ram and its fine he has the jensen indash and pic is great i call pioneer and they tell me it was interferance though the rcas so i bought new ones and it still dose the same thing what the hell can be the problem

Try connecting a different video source, like a DVD player or a video ipod or something, directly to the camera input on the D3 and see if the video is still messed up.

also try connecting the cam vid out rca to the av1 vid in rca.

then you can try to see if its the d3s cam in rca wire thats messed up or your cams vid out rca.

though i doubt its your cam vid out rca cuz you said it worked fine on your friends unit.
