okay i just installed my D3 and i was wondering if its normal that the first screen you see says please insert the appropriate disk? then i put in the disk of the area i was in East. and it showed me the NAV and it showed exactly where i was but the time was off by 4 hours then i went into settings but it would let me click on the configuration or whatever the button is to edit the settings(i forgot)...did i forget something?

Nope sounds about right... The first start up ask for the disk and you have to adjust the time. You may want to play with audio setting to your own taste. Now you just get to drive yourself crazy on the neverending game of customizing it......

haha sounds great! in the manual tho it says something about the application disk on the top of page 130....whats this? i was only given two disk East and West navigation disks...is there something else?

The application disk is the nav disk.

yup just a normal thing like they said and u will have to adjust the time i had to also
