there is a really good radio station in ny. the problem is it is at 87.7. i cannot tune to this station on my z2. is there a setting somewhere? i have looked and cant find it. please help.

WTF why the hell would they eliminate 87.7? this make no sense at all.

i did a little research. technicaly 87.7 is channel 6 on tv. so 87.7 is not a radio station but a tv frequency

not quite... just the audio is on that frequency. but yes, in the eyes of the FCC, that's TV territory. US FM starts at 87.9.
You could replace the crystal if you really want

Get the European version (HD3):
Frequency range.................. 87.5 MHz to 108.0 MHz
You'll have RDS as well....
(just kidding)
