has anyone tried anything like this to retain the stock steering wheel controls with the d3? i was wondering if it would acctually work or if its a waste of money.

yes i have one installed in my 2006 ford fusion w/ D3 and it works pretty well, most buttons take the programming okay but for some strange reason the volume down button only works when it pleases, but overall i would buy it again i love being able to utilize the steering wheel controls

I have one in my 3000GT. All of the buttons work fine.
