I am not using a pioneer xm box. I have a terk xmd1000 tuner with a pioneer direct adapter.

I must tell you this, it does work but only after a retarded routine. I turned the aux on.... and i have to hit the aux source... then reset my avic and the xm source becomes available... anyone ever seen or heard an issue like this.

The issue is that all those Terk pieces work like crap with Pioneer nav systems. Just return it and get the Pioneer one for $99 that you know works
