Everything has been working fine for like 3 years now and all of a sudden yesterday everything stop working. The lcd screen would flicker white and seems to be switch from between full and just mode.

 

I can't seem to control the unit by the remote, eg, can't even power down the unit.

 

I have already tried resetting the lcd unit and the brain but still the same problem.

 

How would I be able to determine which of the 2 item is causing the problem?

 

Since the lcd unit still function with ejecting cd and closing the lcd screen just that nothing is being display.

 

Please help.
