OK, After being out of the car audio install realm for a couple years I am in the process of A complete AV system install in my saturn vue 04 redline v6. I have ran into a couple problems that hopefully one of the "masters" on this site can give me some help......
1. The Vue dash is stated as a "corporate double din" the trim ring that came with the D3 is not wide or tall enough to fill the gap around the unit. Does anyone know of a wide trim ring or dash kit (that dosen't look like crap) that will work?
2. Where the hell is the VSS wire located? I have tried to look it up on alldata and have pulled all the connector views and color codes for the BCM and PCM and have had no luck..... I have a color for the reverse wire but not a pin location.
3. I have bench tested the unit with the Bluetooth unit and I have been able to pair it to my iPhone without a problem but I cannot hear anything. They can hear me.
4. Does anyone know if I will have problems with the iPhone using the iPod cable???? I have not got it yet to test it...
5. Last one!!!! Will the HD radio tuner work with AVIC- D3????
