i just had an avic-z3 installed on my car and to be honest i'm really disappointed with the software on the unit. basically it makes the hardware unusable in most cases.

 

for instance, i have more than 4000 songs on my ipod and i found out that there is no way to search the songs - or artists, ... - with the pioneer software.

 

so if i want to listen to the song # 2000, i need to push the "next page " arrow around 400 times to reach the song!!

am i doing this wrong!

 

please help me if you know there is a better way to search and play ipod songs !
