Why would you want it to stay out? Once you get back in your car it opens for you.

Yes, you can change it to manual in the menu

well one reason you would want it out is for car shows or meets.
what good is a flip screen if you can't show it off to your friends when you check out each other's cars? lets be realistic here. :wink:
i personally have mine setup to fold in when the igniton shuts off, but wouldn't mind knowing how to change it. what menu is this option in?

If I remember correctly, it's in the initial menu. Can only get to that while the unit is turned off
