I have tried for several hours to make a CD background with the below pictures and cannot get the D3 to accept it.

 

I will pay someone that can make a CD and test it on a Avic D3.

What are you using to burn the disk? Because certain ways (like burning with windows explorer) will lead to a disk that won't work. You need to use something like Nero or something like that.

 

You have to put filler data in that PICTURES folder to get the disk size over 1.8 megabytes. It can't be an audio file or an ISO or anything like that. I just used a really really big picture file to take up the filler space.

 

1 - Create PICTURES folder on your desktop

2 - Put the background images you want to use in that folder (15 or 16 pics max)

3 - Put a filler file in the folder to get it up over 1.8 megabytes. You can use a really large picture file, or maybe a word processor document or something

4 - Burn the folder to a CD. You need to use data disk mode.

Thanks, I was using Windows explorer, but NERO worked.
