I thinking about upgrading to from my D3 unit to a z1. The DVD nav is a bit of a pain switching around and I like the hard drive feature of the Z1. I have a few concerns that I thought I should look into so I am looking for some help.

I have Bluetooth, XM, and Ipod accessories with my d3. Can I use the same units for the Z1?

I had the unit professionally installed. Can I just pull it out and plug the z1 in?

Are there any benefits of the D3 over the Z1?

Stick with your D3!

iPod on Z1 SUCKS (you also need a box rather than just a cable)

The XM is the same. The bluetooth and ipod are not, you will have to buy the correct ones. The harnesses and RCA plugs are different...will probably take you about three minutes to switch them over to the new ones that come with the Z1
