The radio does the louder when speed is increased thing.

Green/White stripe behind cluster, I beleive it's pin A4

Hi, I am following this as well, as i spent a couple hours last night trying to find this wire. I'm good with wires I can test, but this thing I'm not sure how to test.

The GMOS-04 wire harness actually works and you dont need to find the VSS wire.
From the instructions:
Connect the Blue/Pink wire to the VSS or speed sense wire of the aftermarket radio. I believe the AVIC cable color is pink... but it is labeled
