First, I would like to say that this is a great source of information. I was sent here by a fellow member from ClubLexus after having some general questions regarding the D3. Bookmarked for future reference! 
As an aside, I did use search and couldn't find the answer to all but ONE question.
My girlfriend recently had a D3 installed in her Scion tC. When it was installed, it was set up to chime every time she gets home. It's not just when she has the navigation set either, it's EVERY time when she gets home. I have searched throughout the unit settings and cannot, for the life of me, figure out how to turn the chime function off. Anyone know how to disable or just turn the function off?
Also, has anyone installed the steering wheel button harness on a Scion? I ran a search and found the harness I need to buy, but it only limits the Makes to Toyota. I'm figuring since Toyota=Scion, it would work without any issues.
