Is it possible to add additional POI's to the AVIC-D3. I've found that you can and Speed Cameras to a TOMTOM unit an did not know if the same is possible on the D3?

No. Looks like it may be possible in the future when the F-series comes out. Assuming you can find a list of speed cameras in your area and put them on an SD card

Well I've extracted all the files from the DVD Rom I'm sure if I could locate the POI files they could be edited or manipulated in some fashion??? THis is how it was done for TOMTOM devices. They took a text file of the locations of all the speed cameras and then converted it to a file type recognized by TOMTOM...

Does anyone know which files within the DVD are the POI files?
