Alright. So I followed the thread on custom backgrounds. I now have a PIM file loaded on the flash memory and it works great. Many props. My issue is that I changed the current JPEG file to a custom JPEG in the BGOPEN2.jpg folder in BG and burned it all together and all I have now is a black screen when nav loads (even after 3rd attemp). I reset the unit with the burnt single layer dvd in the device. Will the custom JPEG load if I just burn a dvd with only the BG folder on the dvd? Will the device recognize the folder individually or do I have to make a new ISO file and burn?

I also burned many custom PIM files onto proper folder to replace the ones that I didn't want to use (IE water). I used my custom PIM files and it would only save one. The device did not recognize the other PIM files.

My other two questions are.....
-Has anyone loaded more then one PIM on their d1 successfully and saved them onto flash drive? If not, do I have to burn a new dvd with the new PIM everytime I want to change background?

-What am I doing wrong with the opening jpeg file? How do I make my d1 recognize the new JPEG?
