Sounds Great....But how did you program the remote to work with the Z1? How does it know which functions are which when you press a button on the remote?

Can you find a button to use as "OK" on the disclaimer screen.

My avic90 remote did this, and I had it set to an unused steering wheel button.
The remote was stolen but I still have the PACswi in, and all of my old functions stil work with the Z1, all except the OK.

all pioneer remotes use the same frequency n thats how it can read each other. 4 the z1 tho, the button functions r limited, the only thing u really can use is volume up/down, src, att (mute), next/ previous track, n next, previous folder.

negative on the ok 4 the disclaimer screen, its so annoyin tho. i tried hitting enter on the remote but it didn't do nethin, itz only a touch screen function i guess. the real way 2 go 4 the z1, is to get the steering wheel remote control, but older pioneer remotes r an alternative.
