Just ordered my avic z3 and was wondering if i need a dash kit to fit, cause i don't like empty spaces around it. If so what one should i buy? Been searching online and cant find anything about it.

i have z2 in my tc, and it comes with everything u need..and u use the stock radio kit

so theres no gaps around the sides? just uses that side paneling the stock hu uses?

U have any pics of it installed just to see.

For the gaps just go to circuit city and get the double din mounting kit. The radio mounts using the stock metal brackets but the kit gives you the two plastic side peices so that there are no gaps. Thats what I used in my tC with the Z2.

yea i asked at best buy and circuit city prior and they dont stock it they say.

Im from northeast philly and I walked right into a circuit city and they had it in stock. Best buy had to order it and said it would take 2 weeks.

i work for circuit city i stock the double kit 24/7. the model number is 95-8202 run 22 bucks.

The vehicle doesn't list that kit because you may have issues closing the flip door.

ill have problems closing it anyway... i have to drill new holes in the mounting harness a lil bit back for the door to close.
